We
have developed a low-cost 3D- motion analysis system for gait analysis.
We used two camcorders to capture the images of the moving subject. The
images were transferred to the computer using a video grabber card. The
speed of the transfer was limited by the camcorders speed that was 25
fps. The user- friendly software developed in this project detects the
passive markers images that were placed on the subject and gives the
trajectory of each marker. We obtained the position data file for each
marker by using a calibration set-up. This data file is used for further
biomechanics analysis for different researches.
